The Volunteers will:

Perform free surgical operations

Undertake any needed training

Can initiate any required educational partnership for long term collaboration

Pay for their own round trip airfare.

The Local Organizing Committee, LOC will:

Provide hospital(s) and patients

Provide surgical equipment and consumable

Provide hotel accommodation, meals and local transportation

Exempt patients treated by the volunteers from payment of fees, at least the surgeons’ fees

The WACS Council Outreach Committee will:

Have overall responsibility for the philosophy, purpose and sustainability of the outreach programme

Arrange for one pre-outreach visit by the Coordinator (or representative) to the host country or institution

Mediate in any dispute between the Volunteering group and the LOC

Report to the WACS Council.
